The Prussians
2019
The Prussians music video brings together my direction and editing work. The story and visual tone guided planning for the Mallorca shoot, from locations and extras through to the edit.
Starting point
The music video approaches abuse and psychological suffering through a fictional story. It follows a woman in a relationship shaped by fear and control. The creative challenge was to address a sensitive subject through a visual approach consistent with the song.
What the work shows
The film brings direction, production and postproduction under one vision.
The edit maintains the story’s thread and the visual atmosphere established on set.
The case shows my involvement in a narrative production with different creative and logistical requirements.
The media in this case study shows the execution.
